Directory of Open Access Journals

The International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy is listed on the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

The Journal has attained the DOAJ Seal

The DOAJ Seal is a mark of certification for open access journals, awarded by DOAJ to journals that achieve a high level of openness, adhere to Best Practice and high publishing standards. To receive the Seal, the journal must comply with the following seven conditions:

A DOAJ Membership is a clear statement of intent and proves a commitment to quality, peer-reviewed open access. DOAJ is co-author to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (Principles) and DOAJ members are expected to follow these principles as a condition of membership

DOAJ is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to around 19,960 high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. Only 8% of journals indexed by DOAJ have been awarded the Seal, and of these only nine journals from Australia have the Seal.
