Paul Bleakley is an assistant professor in criminal justice at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. His research focuses on policing and corruption, and particularly how police corruption has impacted public relationships with law enforcement from a historical perspective. He serves as the Vice Chair of the American Society of Criminology's Division of Historical Criminology. His third book, The Australian Gamble: Organized Crime Down Under, will be released in 2023.
