AustraliaAnna Eriksson is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and has been working at Monash University since 2007. Originally from Sweden, she completed her undergraduate in criminology and behaviour science at Griffith University, Australia, before an MPhil in criminology at Cambridge, and a PhD at Queenâ€™s University Belfast. In 2009, she received the Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology New Scholar of the Year Award and the same year she was also a Visiting Fellow at Kingâ€™s College London. In 2011, she was awarded one of only two Australian Research Council DECRAs in criminology for a 3-year project on comparative penology, where she will explore processes of â€˜otheringâ€™ in the penal systems in Australia and Sweden.
