Authors retain copyright and articles are licenced via Creative Commons to make published articles more readily available and useable. There are no APCs (Article Processing Charges). Authors can submit and publish at no cost.

Marinella Marmo

Dr Marinella Marmo - Book Review Editor, International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy

Dr Marinella Marmo joined the Flinders University Law School in mid-2005, coming from the University of Leicester and, previously, the Liverpool John Moores University. She investigates victimhood across borders, with emphasis on transnational migration and human rights. Her work has been published by leading journals, and appears in a number of books and edited collections. Her research has attracted significant international attention as evidenced by a substantial number of newsprint articles and has been cited by leading policy-makers across Europe and Australia.

Her contribution to excellence in teaching has been recognised internally and externally, including by an Australian Government’s Citation for Excellence in Teaching in 2012 and by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology in 2018.
